Friends are the Chocolate Chips Free Printable

Hello friends! I've got another free printable for you today. This is the last one I have scheduled for now. More may come but I'm hoping to try to focus on energy on some holiday crafts once I get inspired. Today's quote is:
"Friends are the chocolate chips in the cookie of life."

Cookies and friends. Does life get any better? Well, maybe if it were brownies and friends.

Hate You-Love You Grey's Anatomy Free Printable

One of my favorite shows in college used to be Grey's Anatomy. My friends and I would get together in each others dorm rooms and have Grey's Anatomy viewing parties. While I stopped watching it a few seasons ago, a quote from the beginning of the series always stuck in my mind. It was spoken by Meredith to Derek.
"I love you in a really, really big - pretend to like your taste in music, let you eat the last piece of cheesecake, hold a radio over my head outside your window - unfortunate way that makes me hate you-love you."
It was just such a great, cheesy love quote that I had to make it into a free printable. Here it is:

Ombre Arrow Free Printable

Today's free printable has no quote. I love arrows and I really want some artwork in my apartment that reflects them. Unfortunately, I can't afford any of the ones I love and I haven't figured out a way to create my own using canvas art (yet). So, I decided to make a free printable using them.

You can download this free printable here! Until next week!

The Cure for Anything is Salt Water Free Printable

Summer is almost over. Can you believe it? I start classes again in two weeks but I know kids are already being sent back to school. I wanted to devote today's free printable to summer. When I think of summer I think of the beach and the ocean. The quote is from Isak Dinesen (a pen name of Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke).
"The cure for anything is salt water. Sweat, tears, or the sea."

You can download this free printable here. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

May You Never Steal, Lie, or Cheat Free Printable

Today's printable is in honor of love. This weekend my cousin Dave married his lovely fiance, Rachel. My parents and I drove up to Sheffield, MA for the wedding weekend. It was so nice seeing my other side of the family. Dave is the son of my mom's older sister, Diane (who I'm named after) who passed away in 2000. Her son, daughter, and husband live in New England so we only get to see them every few years. For a while it was only on sad occasions like when my grandparents passed away in 2007 and 2009. But now it's for happy occasions. Still, I hadn't seen Dave and his sister Sarah since our uncle got married in 2010. It was far too long.

Like I said, today's free printable is all about love. The quote comes from the movie, Leap Year.
"May you never steal, lie, or cheat. But if you must steal, then steal away my sorrows; and if you must lie, lie with me all the nights of my life; and if you must cheat, then please cheat death because I couldn't live a day without you."

You can download this printable here! Like last week, it is uploading as a gray background but the printable is white.

Congratulations to Dave and Rachel!

Nothing So Beautiful Free Printable

Hello friends! Today's printable is all about less is more. The quote calls for something simple. It's "There is nothing so beautiful as that which does not exist." by Paul Valery. I was drawn to this when I was looking for quotes about writing which is another passion of mine. I just chose a font I liked and left a space in the middle for the beautiful thing that does not exist yet. Here is it:

For some reason, the picture is uploading with a gray background but when you click here for the PDF printable, you'll see that's it's white.

Practical Magic Free Printable

One of my favorite movies growing up was (and still is) Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. It was one of those movies that had a great love story, was just scary enough, and had magic. One of my favorite quotes comes from the end of the movie. Sandra Bullock's character, Sally, closes the movie saying, "But there are certain things I know for certain: Always throw spilt salt over your left shoulder, keep rosemary by your garden gate, plant lavender for luck, and fall in love whenever you can."

I've actually got two versions of this printable for you. My favorite is the chalkboard but I understand that it would take a lot of ink to print so I made one up on a white background.

You can download the chalkboard version of the printable here and the white background here.

Stay tuned next Monday for the next free printable!

Ever Mine Ever Thine Ever Ours Free Printable

I've really been into printables lately - primarily ones that are suitable for the gallery wall I have planned in my head but haven't executed yet. My only criteria is that they have to be free!

As I've been searching for them (here's what I've found so far on Pinterest), I began thinking that I could make my own. I've got a journal that I write down my favorite quotes and song lyrics in (it's a fun reference every now and then - kind of like a photo album). I decided to make my own printables and I wanted to share them with you - for free! This is going to be a weekly thing for as long as I can come up with them :) Join me every Monday for the latest free printable!

My first printable is inspired by the Sex and the City movie. In the movie, Carrie is reading a book called Love Letters of Great Men which didn't actually exist until after the movie came out. I've mentioned it before - if you're a long time fan, you'll remember I typed one up for an aged framed love letter for Valentine's Day last year. This printable is another quote that was mentioned in the movie and is in the book that was subsequently published (Doyle, Ursula. Love Letters of Great Men. New York: St. Martin's, 2008. 106-07. Print.). It is 'Ever Thine. Ever Mine. Ever Ours.' and was in a love letter from Ludwig van Beethoven to his 'Immortal Beloved'.

You can download this free printable here! Enjoy and I'll see you next week with a printable from one of my favorite movies - Practical Magic!
