Cross Stitch: February

Despite a couple of snow days, February was pretty slow on the cross stitching front. I've been busy in my free time with work for my classes and have been dealing with a continuing bit of health problems with my kitten, Violet. There are been lots of back and forth to the vet for some chronic upper respiratory problems. I don't want to jinx anything but I'll give an update in Cross Stitch: March. But, needless to say, there's not a lot of time for the stitching, or crafting of any kind.

Here is where we ended at the end of January:

I didn't work on it much after that. It wasn't until February 16th that I started again. I've removed the cross stitch from its larger frame and am using a smaller hoop so I can finally get to those pesky corners. I worked on the upper left corner.

Here it is on the 23rd. I worked on the upper right corner. I'm going to have to iron this thing, I think.

Here it is at the end of the month (technically this picture is from March 2nd but I'm going to count it since February is so short and I haven't made much progress). I continued my work in the upper right corner.

As a reminder, here is the month by month progress.

Hopefully March will be better!

  1. I am so in awe of the love and effort you've put into your beautiful needlework. My attention span is much too short to tackle such an involved project. I hope Violet is doing better!
