Cross Stitch: November

November was pretty slow for me on the cross stitching front. I think part of it might be because I wanted to be finished by Thanksgiving but I was no where near. Plus, I had a lot of projects due for my classes and I had to get ready for the holiday at our house. November is also National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) so I was busy trying to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. I am thrilled to say I succeeded again (barely)! But, therefore, I only worked on it a little bit.

As a reminder, here is where we were at the end of October.

Here is is on November 3rd. I worked on the background in the upper left corner.

I didn't get a chance to work on it again until the weekend of November 24th. I worked a little bit on the skirt. Here's what I got done.

I spent a little time working on it Thanksgiving weekend. But, I was too busy to get much done as I was panicking trying to finish my NaNoWriMo. I kept up my work on the skirt.

Here is my progress so far month by month:

I'm so close, yet so far!

  1. As I was reading down this post, I was thinking, "I wish I could see a month-by-month progression." :) Thanks for sharing the month-by-month. I love seeing how "shes" coming to life. It's such a beautiful piece of cross-stitch.
