2013 is almost over. It feels like it just began! I think it's fun to see what were the most popular posts of the year. But first, I've got the top four things that happened to me this year!
1. I moved into my own apartment.
2. I got a new kitten, Violet.
3. I went back to school for a new master's degree.
4. I got a small promotion at work.
It was an interesting year for me. If you had told me in 2012 that I would be moving out in early 2013, I wouldn't have believed you. I had originally been planning to move in the fall but an apartment fell in my lap. I love it!
I hope 2014 is even more amazing!
Here is a summary of the top 13 posts from Craft A Spell for 2013.
13. DIY Knit Infinity Scarf
A really easy scarf tutorial for beginning knitters.
12. Magic Peanut Butter Middles
My family's favorite cookie.
11. Caramelized Salmon Skewers
This recipe is really so good! I hope everyone who viewed it tried it!
10. Mod Melts Wine Charms
I'm really glad these turned out well. They were a fast and easy project.
9. How to Add a Custom Domain through Google Blogger
I was surprised this was one of my top 13 posts. I didn't think anyone had looked at it since it hadn't been pinned or gotten any comments but the page views have been high!
8. Ombre Teal Canvas Art - "Be the CHANGE you wish to see in THE WORLD"
After many trials and errors, this art came out great. Unfortunately, it's in the closet right now because Violet keeps knocking it off my wall. I guess she doesn't like it?
7. Deck Makeover
This one being on my top list was both a surprise and not a surprise. I did the post randomly on an old deck update and it was featured by a popular site which drew lots of views!
6. Pearl and Crystal Curtain Ties
These were definitely my favorite curtain ties (and everyone else's too!). Sadly, I had to take them down for now as Violet enjoyed trying to NOM them.
5. Cheesy Bacon and Potato Soup
This soup was very yummy!
4. Shamrock Canvas Art
I loved this project! I can't wait for 2014 St. Patrick's Day so I can hang it up again. I kind of want to put it up all year long.
3. Mod Melts Specimen Art
I was very pleased with how this came out!
2. DIY Herringbone Canvas Art
This is one of my favorite projects from 2013. I'm glad everyone else liked it too!
1. Taffy Apple Salad
This was three times more popular than #2. I was very surprised but everyone on Pinterest seems to like it! Well, I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. It is delicious! But it just doesn't show that in the pictures.
Did anything exciting happen to you in 2013?
I love the wine charms I need some mod melts. Looking forward to see what you do in 2014
