Two years ago today we lost the most wonderful little kitty. His name was Gambit. I was obsessed from the first moment I laid eyes on him. We drove all the way to upstate New York to get him and fell so in love on the long car ride home when he crawled up my shoulder and cuddled against my neck.
He liked to squeeze himself in the unlikeliest of placed...
He even played fetch...
He was a blessing and a joy but, so so sadly, he had been born with a sickness called FIP. Now all we can do is remember and love his memory. Miss you every day Gamy.

I'm sorry for your loss. My boyfriend and I tried to save a kitten my mom found in a field. We only had our little boy for 3 days but I still think about him a lot. He is the reason we have our kitty Rita, it makes me sad to think he never got to have the life she has but it's comforting to know he had some time happy, loved, warm and fed. Thank you for sharing your story.
ReplyDeleteSo sad! It's really overwhelming when you lose a hairy friend! I don't ever wanna think about it for my little one Silky. But... here I am bringing some good news that may cheer you up a little bit. You've just been awarded! Congrats! Check this out on my blog!

It is so much harder to lose anyone, animal or human, when they're so young! Thanks for your kind words!
